Art Club: Architecture Starts Soon

Beginning in March, our 3rd-5th Grade Sparks will have the unique opportunity to learn about the world of architecture. This after-school class, led by architectural designer Mrs. Maggie Rivas, features a hands-on experience where students can brainstorm, sketch, design, and construct their own projects.

Students will gain a deeper understanding – and appreciation – of their own communities and the world around them.
Registration closes this Friday, March 1.

100 Days Smarter at Embers!
This past Tuesday marked 100 days of learning this school year. Our 5th Grade Sparks led the celebration by dressing as their 100 year old selves and parading through each classroom. They certainly made for a festive bunch!

New Trimester Approaching:
Trimester II ends on Friday, March 3rd and Trimester III will begin Monday, March 4. Report cards will be be available on myEmbers! starting Saturday, March 11.

Monday: Patriotic Day!
Students may come to school dressed in red, white, and blue clothing to celebrate America.
Tuesday: Career Day!
Will you grow up to be a doctor? A mother? An athlete? Students may come to school dressed as their future selves.
Wednesday: Silly Sock Day!
Students may wear silly socks with their regular uniforms.
Thursday: Crazy Hair Day!
Our Sparks are challenged to come up with creative hair and hat styles that they may wear with their red Embers Spirit Shirts.
Friday: Decades Day!
Do you love flare pants of the ‘70s? Are you into ’80s neon? Sparks may come to school dressed as their favorite decade.

School Supply Wish List
This past summer, we reviewed our supply lists and decreased the overall number of items requested from each family. However, as we head into our third Trimester, there are a few items that have been nearly depleted throughout the school.
