Visiting Embers is a great opportunity for your child to spend some time in one of our classes and meet our students!

Students Entering 1st-5th Grades

• Submit a completed Transcript Records Release Form, available on your myEmbers! portal, to your current school. This form allows your current school to send records directly to Embers. If your child has attended more than one school, complete a separate form for each school.
• Send an Applicant Recommendation Form request, available on your myEmbers! portal, to be completed by your child’s current teacher. Only one recommendation is required. The Recommendation Form must be sent to your child’s teacher through your myEmbers! portal.

After we receive a completed application and supporting documents, our Admissions Manager, Julene Barder, will reach out to schedule a student assessment (for students entering 1st-5th Grade) and a Parent Interview. A Parent Interview is a conversation that helps us get better acquainted with you and your child and allows you to learn more about the partnership Embers strives to cultivate with parents.

The Admissions Committee carefully reviews each candidate. Every aspect of the application is considered valuable and important. Parents are notified via email when an admissions decision is made.
