Save the New Date for Embers Ice Cream Social! 

Sometimes it’s good to break tradition. Due to Embers’ family becoming increasingly so large, we are going to break tradition and have the Embers Ice Cream Social after the start of the school year, instead of before. 

Be sure to mark your calendars and save the New date: Sunday, September 12, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m., held at Embers Academy. More details coming soon!

Embers will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences prior to the start of the school year. This helps us more effectively partner with parents in educating your children. 

Each conference will last 15 minutes. Information on how to register for these Conferences will be sent in next week’s newsletter. Parents may drop off school supplies at this time.

September 7th, 8:20 – 11:30 a.m.

All PK-5th grade students will enjoy a HALF DAY of school on Tuesday, Sept. 7th. In next week’s newsletter, we will provide detailed information regarding  DROP OFF and PICK UP procedures. For all returning families, the procedures and route remain the same as used this past school year. 

Moms and Dads, no need to leave after drop-off — please join us at the “Welcome Coffee” to meet other parents. This is a great time to get acquainted or reacquainted! Information follows below… 

Reading: Join in the Summer Reading Celebration! Your student(s) can be part of the fun by completing the Required Summer Reading and the Highly Encouraged Summer Reading. 

Math: All students who complete their Math Review Packets and submit to their teacher on Tuesday, September 7th will be invited to participate in a Summer Math Celebration! at the start of the school year.

Please click HERE for the uniform requirements by grade.  This coming school year, we will be returning to the normal uniform requirements. This year we will require proper school shoes for boys and girls (no gym shoes except for recess and P.E. classes). Please review the Parent Handbook found in your 2021-22 Enrollment Contract located in your myEmbers portal or Embers website for details on uniform requirements.

Birth and Baptismal Certificates

Please be sure your student has a Birth Certificate on file, as well as a Baptismal Certificate, if applicable.  Submit copies of these documents  to the Embers School Office.
